Heloo there! :)

Nothing much is happening these days now that the show is over. I can't remember what I did for fun before this! haha. Oh well, I guess it's good that the show wrapped up withs strike today since I am having wrist surgery Tuesday morning in Jackson. This is probably the last time I will be typing with both of my hands free for the next month or two. Please keep me in your prayers if you think about it. Just that my mom and I would be safe traveling to and from Jackson, and that the doctor would do well and that there won't be any hold-ups. It is just a wrist surgery but I don't want them operating on the wrong wrist or something!

HELLO WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So life this summer has been pretty uneventful. I find myself waiting for August to role around and with it bringing all of my beautiful friends back (or at least most of them) and a schedule of sorts. I WILL BE A SENIOR! (And hopefully a graduating one!)!

My day-to-day consists of work, run, shower, get dressed, go to rehearsal, go home...repeat. It's sad, but it is solidifying the already known truth in my mind that whatever I do for the rest of my life- whether it's perform, teach, or just play mom- It will have to keep me busy...I don't know what to do when I am not busy!

Oh, and I turn the big 2-1 in 4 days...yeah, I will be legal. I really don't know what that will mean to me except that I don't have an excuse for anyone else to buy me drinks, but I am hoping it will mean big things.

That is it for this update.
To all of you who have left me here for the summer- I'm glad you got out while you could, be careful, make good choices, keep Christ first, and I love you!

Do you ever feel that you are crunched for time in stages of life?

Just yesterday I was a child- innocent, sweet, ignorant of real troubles, filled with laughter, and so loving. Now, I am quickly approaching 21 and feel almost behind. I don't feel as though I have accomplished enough to merit turning 21...at least not just yet. There are so many important decisions being put in front of me daily, and all I can do is pray because I have no clue as to the proper thing to do. Is there a right answer and a wrong answer? God gave us free will, for which I am thankful, but I have never really been given the opportunity to utilize it in serious matters; therefore, I am very afraid.

                          ....What will I do after college? Grad school at U. of Alabama? Conservatory? Work at a theater somewhere? Cosmetology school? Something completely unrelated to theater??? I just don't know....

   ----Where do I look for answers? How can I know if I am making the right choices?...Is there a right choice?

I almost feel that if I don't do something quick I will run out of time...but is it really running out of time if you glorify God no matter where you are or what you are doing?

...That should be solace enough, right?

So, I be sick...

Sinus infection with "the possibility of strep".

..I believe that is doctor speak for you're screwed, but I'm not sure! (jk)

Also, I will be having wrist surgery on July 31st in Jackson again. YAY!

I don't understand why I am falling apart already, I mean I'm not even 21 yet! (one month!), but I know the Lord is using each day and placing each obstacle before me for His purpose in my life. I will rejoice because I know He is using this for my good, even if it doesn't mean easy sailing. Maybe He is bringing me to my knees to allow me to understand my mom and Allison's illnesses better, allowing me growth in grace, understanding, faith, or making me stronger. He is good.

I hope you are having an amazing day, and even if it isn't what you had hoped or worked to make it, Rejoice, because it is a day that He has made, and He works for the good of those who love him and are called according to His purposes (Romans).

My sister was discharged from the hospital Friday night, and is now at home with us resting. The Lord has been so good and continues to prove His sovereignty everyday. I, as well Allison and the rest of my family, are thankful for your thoughts and prayers and ask you to remember her as she seeks medical care. Also, the doctor said that stress can act as a catalyst for these "flare-ups" and my sister is experiencing plenty of that, so please do continue to pray that God would see fit to give her the grace necessary to deal with these situations as well. Again, thank you for your prayers. The Lord is good.

Yesterday morning my older sister, Allison, was taken to the hospital in Louisville due to a flare-up in her chrons disease. Then yesterday afternoon, she was taken to the Tuscaloosa hospital where she is being offered treatment options since the current steroid treatment she is on is obviously not strong enough. The doctors are agreeing that one very serious treatment involving a heart catheter and weekly 4-5 hour visits to a doctor for the rest of her life is the most promising, but my sister is refusing, and due to the situations at hand, she is severely depressed as well.

Please pray that God would be with her during this time, as well as for the physicians treating her. I will update as soon as I find out anything else.

p.s. please be praying for me tomorrow, as I will be traveling to Tuscaloosa to take Allison's things to her (they left kind of quickly the other morning, so they forgot her medicines and purse and a change of clothes).

Nothing much to report- work, work, more work, tutoring, cooking, and a wedding. I must say the wedding was the best part...as well as my inspiration for the alternate spellings of the word above...

Anywho, what else is there to report? I gained a pound this past week...OOOOh and how could I forget???
I got my hair cut and colored by the talented Miss Lacy Key!
It isn't too different from the last time- but much lighter!!! Oh colors are fun! I am planning on just getting my hair trimmed for the next year and a half until it grows out again so that I can do more stuff with it....that is the plan....we will see how it works out.

AND I want to know what YOU are up to...YES, YOU!

Well, my sister just got here (she is visiting for the next week!), so I will go in order to chat with her.

Ok, so I didn't have the guts to end my relationship with Xanga afterall, at least not just yet!

I like updating...it is like a journal, which makes it cathartic to me (even if I am the only one who reads it).

So, this week has been less than eventful.

Sunday- I got to play with a horse, and I want one...or at least want to ride one soon!!!
Monday- worked...hung out in Starkvegas ($7 steak = awesome), almost watched arrested development, tried some fun new drinks at Polliwogs :) yum!
Tuesday- worked, fed Faith, found out that the only copy of arrested development (season 2) available to James and I had been sold...it was not a good day... I decided May 22nd should be removed from all calendars.
Wednesday- worked, ate with the family (jerk chicken!), went to Starkvegas and hung at the Lakehouse [EDIT***(with a Mr. Thomas John Crane)], where I watched The Fountain which was really AWESOME! and ate cotton candy and drank yellowtail chardonay!!!
Thursday- had the day off work but still ended up having to go in due to things, worked out, got to lay out and go swimming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and hang with Ashley! , then went to Starkville to see PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 3- it was pretty good overall.
Friday- Was supposed to be off work again but still went in for about 2 hours again, helped get some things ready for Red Hills Arts Festival tomorrow, took a nap (nasty migraine =gross), ate a late dinner, took an awesome shower , washed clothes, cleaned the kitchen, and chilled (which is why I am posting right now).

And that is my week for the most part. I should mention that I almost ran off to New York for a few days, but thanks to weekend airline rates, that was a no-go... stupid communist airline people!!! I also almost went to the mountains for a few days, but thanks to no one wanting to go with me, that was a no-go as well...

But tomorrow is Red Hills Arts Festival AND my mom's grand opening in her new location, and then I am heading to Jackson where I will be buying something awesome for my awesome older sister's birthday, possibly auditioning for a short film, and hopefully seeing my BESTEST EVER, Miss Calen Oswalt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you are having a wonderful week!!! Please keep me updated on what you are up to AND when you will be around (I define "around" as within a 1 hr radius of Louisville) AND if I can come visit you...because I like visiting people!!!

I guess what they say is true...xanga is dead...? No one to comment their thoughts about entries, and no one posting for me to read and keep up with what's going on with them...so I guess this means I should retire this site, since no one wants to read it...sniff sniff!

..I need something to do!!!
Give me some ideas!!!
haha I am so A.D.D. that I am already needing some major spontaneity in my Summer...

I've been sewing things...I finished a teddy bear I started working on back in January...I ran out of paints though, so I can't paint at the moment...I go running every day...I cook alot, and clean a good bit...been working at my mom's store (and Friday I almost finished getting it moved...YAY)...I have nearly learned all of Cathy's parts from The Last Five Years, and I am waiting to start voice lessons!...
And I am not sure if I will audition for the SCT summer musical review yet...I just don't like auditioning that's all...
And I just don't know what to do! I started reading a book, but if that's all I do besides work, I will need a new book in a day or two!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
